Grand Chelem Wines
Produced from a single vineyard in the world-renowned southern Wilyabrup appellation of Margaret River, Australia’s premier winemaking region, the wines comprise a syrah, sauvignon blanc and rosé made in the New French style. The vineyard is one of a small handful of Australian vineyards run to a 1er Grand Cru Classé standard and barriques are imported from Burgundy and Bordeaux for the making of each wine, which represent Grand Chelem’s vision of the ultimate expressions of still table red, white and rosé wines. All bottles are individually numbered and production strictly limited for each vintage in which the wines are produced according to a minimal intervention philosophy, ensuring that the wines are a true reflection of a storied place and unique terroir.
Terroir. A celebrated site located slightly east of the famous Caves Road tourist trail which is home to many of Australia’s most highly regarded wineries, the Grand Chelem vineyard was chosen for its well-draining soil profile of deep sandy loam over ironstone gravel with a not overbearing maritime influence and strong winds which sweep through the vines known as the Roaring Forties. A world class location producing Australia’s finest wines.
