A fine dining rosé, this wine spent 10 months in old oak barrels formerly the home of Australia’s most expensive cabernet sauvignon in the immediately preceding vintage. A rival to champagne for celebrations and made exclusively from handpicked shiraz grapes from the Grand Chelem shiraz vineyard, the wine benefitted from extensive lees contact and was bottled without adjustment or fining. Purity of fruit, with aromatics characterised by raspberry, peaches and cream and red pepper. Spicy undertones with refreshing acidity on the palate.
1499 bottles produced.
Drink now or cellar at around 12°C until 2028.
