With carefully considered whole bunch fermentation and élevé in a curated blend of new and old French oak barriques for ten months, this is a textured and savoury syrah, dark and intense with concentrated mineral purity and aromatic clarity and freshness. An inky ruby robe in the glass with a nose redolent of Luxardo cherry, blackberries and currants, allspice, tobacco and delightful pepper. The palate is thick and layered with rich, balanced tannins and acidity. A lingering finish completes the wine.
